Induction cum Orientation Program-2023

Dera Natung Government College Itanagar successfully organized an induction cum orientation program for the first semester students today. At the event, the toppers of the Arts, 2022 session Ms. Tai Maria, and the 2023 session topper Mr. Gagin Yaying, as well as the toppers of the B. Com 2022 session Ms. Taba Yallu, the 2023 session topper Ms. Kamzen Wangpan and the B.Sc. 2022 session topper Ms. Zeya Parween, and the 2023 session topper Ms. Sharda Mishra were honoured with Principal Merit cash prizes.

In the first session, Dr. Kiran Lonchung, HOD, Geography, welcomed all the freshers and wished them for their excellent academic journey during their stay at the college.
Dr M. Q. Khan Principal, DNGCI familiarised students with the college rules and academic regulations. He addressed the newly admitted students to acquaint them with the college's principle and resources.
NEP and ABC Schemes were introduced by Dr. Ratna Tayeng, HOD, Anthropology. Dr. Dobiam Narba, Assistant Professor, Zoology, DNGC also spoke on the occasion and imparted information on the selection of Minor Course and Multidisciplinary Courses.
Dr. J. R. Padhi, HOD of English, and Dr. A. K. Pandey, HOD of Commerce, welcome the students and introduce them to the NEP and ABC Schemes in the second and third sessions.
All the freshers from all streams, arts, science, and commerce enthusiastically attended the program.
The program was hosted by Ms. Geyir Ete, Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce, DNGCI. She also spoke on various cells and clubs of DNGC and recommended that all the students should be part of at least one club.
